Ask a new question. Netflix would not run, so I uninstalled it and figured I could just reinstall, but all I get is this error code. I've read a number of threads to try to fix the problem, but so far no luck. Run the store troubleshooter. It found errors and said it fixed them, but still same error on trying to install netflix. Manually started the windows installer service and rebooted, no change in result. Checked the registry to insure the download for temporary files has not changed--it hasn't.
I wish I could clear out any cache or history of the app on the computer. Seems like there must be a location or corrupt file somewhere that's blocking the download and install. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread.

I got quite a few errors so I did it a few times. Again--quite a few errors, but I'm pretty sure this is the error that's causing the problem:. I could give you the full string of errors if that helps, but seems this is where the problem is.
Now--keep in mind, I have not opened any programs after reboot except notepad and powershell--so what resources could be blocking this I wonder? I recommend that you repair Windows completely before you must make a backup of your personal files, third-party software will be removed.
Here the link to download the Windows ISO. Not worth the risk just have netflix back. You would think there would be a better way. Try to return to a previous point. I tried that but it said my system cannot be restored to the earlier point. I picked about 7 days ago, which may not have been early enough, but it couldn't even restore and so nothing was changed.
